At Digenakis Winery near Arkalochori, you spend about 90 minutes touring the winery, learning from the production team, and tasting five wines, Cretan olive oil, and local foods. Owner Lefteris and winemaker Michalis are connected with the experience, held in a modern building with an art gallery and vineyard views.
“Tasting itself was a great experience as they provide nice atmosphere and many good wines. Olive oil tasting could be a bit more expanded but overall it was nice. It was quite interesting to see and hear about production of wines as well.”
